You may be interested in coming along to the above when two members of the Wiltshire Short Mat Bowls Association are turning up as above to give a free demo and tuition. There will also be free refreshments available.

This is a chance to tryout a sporting activity which is ideal for the winter months as its in the dry and with the benefit of heating !

The sport has long since escaped from the image of it being for pensioners only with all ages now taking part .

If there is sufficient interest further evenings will be planned together with some in the afternoons with the possibility of a league and matches with other local sides

The association are prepared to lend out a mat and set of bowls on a long term basis to start things off which is very kind of them.
