James Morton’s Porkchop appear on Saturday 12 February 2011 at 8pm at Sherston Village Hall.
Porkchop are a quartet from Bristol specializing in Funk and Boogaloo with Gospel/Jazz inflections. The band comprises of musicians who to date have performed with the legends of Funk, Jazz, Blues and Rock. These legends include: Fred Wesley, Pee Wee Ellis, Dr. John, The Meters, The New Mastersounds, Snowboy, Martha High, Andy Sheppard, Roy Ayers, Tony Allen, Kasabian to name but a few.
