The Carducci Quartet are coming to Malmesbury Abbey

Malmesbury Abbey Music Society is absolutely delighted to present a concert by the exceptionally talented Carducci Quartet on Saturday 7th May 2011 at 7:30 pm in Malmesbury Abbey. This is the second concert in the Society’s exciting 40th Anniversary Programme for 2011 and it promises to be a real treat!

Recognised as one of today’s most exciting young string quartets, the Carducci Quartet comprises of Matthew Denton on violin, Michelle Fleming on violin, Eoin Schmidt-Martin on viola and Emma Denton on cello and holds residencies at the Trinity College of Music in London, Cardiff University and the Cork School of Music in Ireland.

They are bringing a wonderfully mixed programme of Haydn, Mendelssohn & Dvorak to the Abbey and this really is a concert not to be missed! If you need any more convincing check them out online at http://www.carducciquartet.co.uk
