It’s finally occurred..!! We are pleased to announce that the Carps has been taken over today and is to re-open again once the refurbishment has been completed.

Peter Brock, who is well known in the village, and who also used to run the pub before in the 1990’s, has taken it over and will finish the works that are needed.

His plans for running the pub certainly seemed to us to be the best to ensure the continued presence of a second pub in the village, and we are sure the entire village will support him in this exciting new venture.
