We regret to announce that the 2020 Sherston Boules Festival is cancelled.

The committee delayed making this decision for as long as possible but, with the Government continuing to emphasise the “long-haul” nature of the Covid-19 public health restrictions and the recent cancellation of numerous other national and regional summer events, we have reached the conclusion that cancelling this year’s festival was in the best interests of the people of Sherston. All competition entry fees will be automatically refunded. 

We will continue to monitor the situation in the hope, however slight, that social distancing/gathering restrictions will be lifted enough to enable us to safely provide the village with some form of a celebratory event on July 11th albeit on a much-reduced scale.
